Sharing insights on Real Estate, diving into Business, & emphasizing Mental Health. In Support of MDAM.

My real estate adventure started when I bought my first house at the age of 21. A couple of years later, my parents bought a farm and I did the opposite of what most people do and moved TO a farm in my 20's. A pheasant farm, of all farms. So, I rented the house out and became a landlord by chance. It went well, so I bought more - learning a ton in the process.

Throughout this time I studied business (economics, accounting, marketing, management, etc) at the U of M and worked full-time in hospitality.

In my mid-20s, I was diagnosed with an illness that, had it not been for the support of my family & friends could have left me dead or homeless. It took me years to recover, and now I donate a portion of every sale I make to local mental health initiatives so that those without solid support at home can get it elsewhere.

The Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba does amazing work, and I wanted to volunteer for them but I simply can't commit the appropriate amount of time.

So I thought I'd help them do their thing - which is helping people learn to help themselves - by doing my thing, which is connecting and collaborating with like-minded people to raise money and spread awareness about mental health... AND this amazing organization that is helping so many people in our city.

I'm pumped to announce that filming for Season 1 of the "Send Them To Dino" Podcast is complete and will be published soon.

We'll be discussing mental health, real estate, and business in Winnipeg, as individual topics, and how they're connected.

Stay tuned for upcoming episodes and blog posts.
